The ethalonic extract of the leaves of Jatropha tanjorensis Ellis & Saroja was tested for antimicrobial activities against gram positive - Bacillus cereus, Bacillus subtilis, staphylococcus aureus, gram negative E. coli and mycobacterium pheli.
